Landscape Burlesque is a series of new black and white paintings, which both tangle and playfully peel away an organic universe. The tethering of forms with spindly vines and plump exploding pods, push, pull and vamp with a raucous energy. These works take their cue from a natural world that is composing and decomposing in a landslide of intensity with a painterly bump and grind.
