TOM BARIL, MABEL ODESSEY & ILAN WOLFF
CONTACT 2004

Landscape is a subtle yet powerful element, which is inextricably bound with the way we live our urban lives. Landscape is not just the geographical terrain and location but also the combination of the climatic conditions and the architectural icons we reference. These international photographers give us a view of their worlds from Paris to New York from the garden to the river from private to imaginary spaces.

Tom Baril, examines natural elements at a range that makes us aware of its often neglected beauty.

Mabel Odessey explores the relationship with the mysterious giving us glimpses of the invisible world. She allows entropy to control aspects of her creative process.

Ilan Wolff’s experimental work shows effaced images merging with the elusive. Wolff plays with time, long exposures eliminate moving objects and what remains is what is captured in Wolff”s camera obscura.
