Since its creation in 2002, the Love Show has worked to raise awareness about the privilege that surrounds us and our responsibility to support others. Each year, proceeds from the show are used to support community-based organizations that combat violence and encourage self esteem. Each of us has infinite abilities of kindness and love. This year, we support Workman Arts, a not-for-profit professional arts company working in partnership with and located in the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

Artist participants will submit pieces that reflect on the theme of ‘Dreams’, not to exceed 8″ x 8″ x 8″ (including any supports or framing devices). Pieces must be ready to hang. Pieces will be sold for $75 each with the proceeds going to Workman Arts. To enter works in the show, artists will pay a $10 submission fee* per piece and receive a tax receipt for $75 for each piece sold.

*If you’re a student, submitting to the Love Show is free (valid current student ID required).

Deadline: Thursday, October 22, 2009
