Annie Taylor

Annie Taylor is an image-based artist working primarily in photography and video from Ottawa, Ontario. Through an exploratory artistic practice informed by art history and earth sciences, she investigates the changing relationship between human beings and nature. Taylor is a recent BFA graduate with a concentration in photography from the University of Ottawa. She has shown in various galleries in Ottawa and is a Laureate of the Imagining Canada’s Future: Future Challenges Grant awarded by the University of Ottawa Office of Undergraduate Research and the Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council (May 2015), received the Edmund and Isobel Ryan Visual Arts Scholarship in Photography (April 2015) and second place accolades for the Jacqueline Fry Scholarship Award (October 2014).
