On Saturday, October 9th an all ages printmaking workshop took place at 918 Bathurst. As part of the Printopolis Symposium, Lonsdale Gallery coordinated “In Pursuit”, an exhibition by Nicholas Shick. In conjunction with that exhibition, artists Nicholas Shick and Tara Cooper organized a printmaking workshop. This workshop was open to the public, the goal being to connect the public with printmaking media.
The workshop focused on silk screening and stenciling techniques. The day was a huge success! Artworks from the workshop were displayed in Gallery 918 alongside works by Nicholas Shick.
