A piece by artist Ryan Van Der Hout will be on display at AGO Art Rentals as part of the Jeanne Beker collection.  This display is part of the Art Gallry of Ontario Collector’s Series, which provides an insider’s look at the personal collections of notable Canadians.

In her Toronto.com article here, Beker tells the stories behind piece in her collection:

“Hamish with Mask by Ryan Van Der Hout

This mega-sized 40-by-72-inch photograph hangs in my front hall. Van Der Hout was a student in 2007 when he created this dramatic experimental work. I was lucky enough to buy it at a charity photography auction to benefit AIDS research. I can’t remember exactly how much I paid for it, but I think it was around $1,200.”
